great access to parks and unique museums nearby for weekend strolls

I had a pleasant stay and appreciated the spacious rooms along with the nearby Sculpture Park that's perfect for walking and enjoying nature, as well as the 1940 Air Terminal Museum just a short drive away, making it easy to explore interesting landmarks during my visit.

Not the best experience

So, I booked a stay here and it was pretty rough. The A/C was ancient and didn't cool at all. There were roaches everywhere, which was just nasty. I had to walk up three flights with my kids and dog because they wouldn’t let us stay on the 1st floor. I also found used needles near the elevator, super unsafe!

We had a nice time, especially when we were close to Minute Maid Park for an Astros game. The kids enjoyed the fun atmosphere, and it was a convenient place to stay while exploring. Our room had the essentials we needed for our family with 3 small children.

In my wife's opinion, the cleanliness left much to be desired.

Though the location was convenient, issues like dirty rooms and a lingering smell made it less enjoyable. Maintenance was clearly lacking, and cleanliness demands significant improvement. However, the nice staff was a highlight during my time here.

We had a bit of an issue with room service knocking on our door when we had a do not disturb sign up. It was frustrating after a long drive, as we just wanted to relax. The front desk mentioned the system was down, but it seemed like a lie.

we had a pleasant stay at travelodge. the location was great, just a short bus ride to downtown from hobby airport. the attendant was really kind and made sure we got a downstairs front-facing room. plus, the seasonal outdoor pool was a nice bonus for the kids to enjoy!

The room was a total mess. It smelled bad, and there were stains everywhere. Roaches crawling around, ripped carpet, and a broken tub. Super gross overall. I couldn't stay another night even though I paid for it. Just a really unpleasant experience.
